Deloris “Dori” D. Lundgren, 77 of Elkhorn, WI, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at her home. She was born December 4, 1939 in Mellette, South Dakota, the daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy (Burt) Sprowl. She graduated from Elkhorn High School with the Class of 1957. Deloris married Larry R. Lundgren on December 31, 1966 in East Troy, WI. Larry died June 7, 2006. Deloris worked for the Elkhorn School District as the head cook for over 30 years retiring in 2011. Deloris was an avid reader, bird watcher and loved to bake. She was an artist, who enjoyed painting and drawing.
Deloris is survived by her three children; Larry (Lisa Bong) Lundgren Jr. of East Troy, Lyssia (Chris Cox) Lundgren of Elkhorn and LaVel (David) Hosbach of Elkhorn, two granddaughters, Brittney (James Boguslawske) Lundgren and Renee (Cullin Hollian) Neuman, five great-grandsons; Shane, Mason, Daxton, Finnley and Tanner, one sister; Bonnie (James) Hoover Delavan, WI, sister-in-law; Kathy (Robert) Reed of Williams Bay, WI and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 yrs, Larry, her daughter; Lani Rene, her brother; Michael Sprowl.
Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday June 3, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood & Associated Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI with Pastor Bob Kamps officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of services. On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
