Lester L. Horlacher, 90, of County Road L East Troy, WI died Saturday July 23, 2016 at Linden Grove Care Center Mukwonago, WI. Lester was born February 17, 1926 in Rosalia, WA the son of the late Walter and Ida Horlacher. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. On November 7, 1953 he was united in marriage to Arlene Echo Kegley at St. James United Methodist Church East Troy, WI. Arlene died December 23, 1988. Lester farmed in the East Troy area for over 50 years. He also worked for the Town of East Troy for over 20 years. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, he loved farming and his family, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by his six children; Keith (Patricia) Horlacher of Elkhorn, WI, Candy Horlacher-Ganhs of Waterford, WI, Melody (Michael) Gibson of East Troy, WI, Harmoni (Glen) Shadoan of East Troy, WI, Dana (Tina) Horlacher of Burlington, WI and Colin (Judy) Horlacher of East Troy, WI, ten grandchildren, Eleven great-grandchildren, one sister Margaret (William) Heise of Farmington, WA, and by a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Arlene, two sisters; Mildred and Evelyn and by three brothers; Homer, Paul and Stan. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday August 1, 2016 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI.
