Richard Craig Fischer

Richard “Dick” C. Fischer 71 of Lake Geneva, WI died on April 17, 2017 at his home on Como Lake.  Richard was born on February 23rd, 1946, son of the late Wilford and Violet (Vogan) Fischer.  Richard spent the majority of his life in the Walworth County area after being Honorably Discharged from the United States Army.  He enjoyed learning, he received an Associates Degree and continued schooling after that, he was an avid studier of history, especially WWII.  He enjoyed genealogy studies, and was able to be a teacher to himself on things such as piano.  Richard had a special love for Harley Davidsons, and weight lifting.  He in fact, holds many weight lifting titles, on being the World Record Holder in the single lift bench press, which was accomplished in 2011.  Richard was a hard worker, he owned and operated his own concrete business, and after that did odd jobs to keep himself busy.  Richard is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Cheryl Schmid, Tim Fischer; brother-in-law William Overlee; and Niece and Nephew; Endrea LeBrun, and Joey Mustard.  Richard is survived by his siblings; Susan Overlee, Jill (Mike) Mustard, Jeri (Dave) Paulette; nieces and nephews; Michael (Michelle) Mustard, Kelly (Jerome) Rodgers, Nicole Stark, Joshua (Kristina) Overlee, Adam (Sarah) Schmid, Wil Paulette, Morgan Schmid, Carly Fischer, Scott Paulette, Heather Fischer; Cousin; Howard Zamzow; Special friend; Linda; and many other cousins.  The family would also like to express a Thank You to Amy, Chin, and Mies for all your care and friendship.  Funeral Service will be held at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI on Saturday April 22, 2017 at 12 Noon.  Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home before the Service starting at 10AM until the time of Service.  Online guestbook can be found at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
