Richard J. Schwartz

Richard J. Schwartz, 90 of Waukesha County, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Heritage Court in Pewaukee, WI. Richard was born April 18, 1926 in Waukesha, WI, the son of the late Ezra and Viola (Welter) Schwartz.  He was married to Marilyn Braun on February 22, 1947 in West Allis, WI. Richard served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was an avid gardener and loved yard work.  Richard enjoyed collecting stamps.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Marilyn, 8 eight children; David (Judy) Schwartz, Terry (Peggy) Schwartz, Cherylyn (Ronald) Mohr, LuAnn (Richard) Davis, Barbara (Dan) Schultz, Jeff (Robyn) Schwartz, Thomas (Amy) Schwartz and Douglas Schwartz, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and five siblings; Rita Howard, Marjorie (Frank) Greb, Frederick Schwartz, Joann (Ralph) Krug and Charles (Evelyn) Schwartz.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Bob, Viola and Eleanor.

Memorial Service with Military Honors will be 12:00PM (Noon) Friday, September 23, 2016 Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove with Pastor Paul Vawter officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery.  Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
