Albert G. Plasky, age 66, of Bloomfield, WI, (Pell Lake) died Thursday evening February 4, 2016 at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.
Albert George Plasky was born on January 31, 1950 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Albert and Strella Leszczynski Plasky. On June 21, 1969 in Chicago, IL, Albert was united in marriage to Shirley Wantland. They lived in Chicago until moving to Pell Lake in 1989.
Albert was self employed in the metal recycling business and also worked at Atwood and Hamlin Woodworking in Richmond, IL. He was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pell Lake. He enjoyed woodworking. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears, CUBS and NASCAR.
Albert is survived by: His wife-Shirley; 5 sisters-Rose Handley of Pell Lake, WI, Bernice Policchi of Glenview, IL, Theresa McNally of Minnesota, Helen Meeters of Las Vegas and Betty Chevette of Racine, WI.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM Wednesday February 10, 2016 at the Haase-Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home in Genoa City. Interment will be in Bloomfield Cemetery. The Plasky Family will receive friends from 9:00AM Wednesday until the time of services at the Funeral Home.
