Donald R. Zilske, age 70, of Burlington, WI (Bohners Lake) died Saturday evening November 26, 2016 at his home.
Donald Robert Zilske was born on January 27, 1946 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Robert and Florence Hoffmann Zilske. On September 11, 1965 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Twin Lakes, Donald was united in marriage to Marcelline Jean Damron. They lived in Genoa City, WI and Powers Lake, WI before moving to Bohners Lake 27 years ago.
Donald worked as a fork lift operator for the St. Gobain Corporation in Burlington, WI for many years. Donald enjoyed 4 wheeling, playing euchre, horseshoes and fishing. Many years ago he bowled in league for Dick and Ray’s Tavern.
Donald is survived by: His wife, Marcelline; 3 children, Diane (John) Gaertner of Burlington, WI, Edward Zilske of Burlington, WI and Donald (Christine) Zilske of Burlington, WI; 5 grandchildren, Brian Olsen, Robert Olsen, Timothy Olsen, II, Anthony Young and Patience Zilske; 1 great grandchild, Michael Olsen; and a sister, Darlene Jahns.
He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Kelly Zilske on Nov. 21, 1969; a sister, Joan (George) Zilske and a brother in law, William Jahns.
The Zilske Family will receive friends from 5:00PM Thursday December 1, 2016 until the time of Funeral Services at 7:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Twin Lakes. Memorial remembrances may be made to the Zilske Family, % Box 310, Twin Lakes, WI. 53181.
