She was one of the most influential citizens of Walworth County. She worked tirelessly for the Webster House, wrote wonderful historical articles for the local newspapers. A brilliant woman who loved Elkhorn. She will be missed by many.

Miss Reinke was my kindergarten teacher in 1954. She got me started as a lifelong learner. She and Mary Bray were pillars of the Elkhorn historical community. I remember her with great fondness. We all were blessed to have her as part of our lives.

Miss Reinke was one of my favorite teachers. I had her in Kindergarten in 1945 and all 4 of my children had her as well, the last one in 1971. She was a great lady and will be greatly missed and always remembered.
