We are very sorry to hear about Uncle Johnny passing. We have so many fond memories of him and he always knew how to make us laugh. He truly is someone that everyone wanted to be around. One of the most humble people we've ever met. We loved hiking with him in Arizona, playing golf together in Wisconsin, and seeing him interact with our Grandfather, and his brother, Chuck. We miss him and we wish we could have been there with you and the family Mary, but we send our heartfelt condolences instead.

Sorry we missed the service. We just found out about Gene on Sunday. He was the kindness and nicest man. Always willing to talk and give you ideas. He will be greatly missed not just by your family, but by the whole community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs. Olson and Family,

My sincere sympathy for your loss. I have very delightful memories of Mr. Olson and Chemistry Class. I was pretty clumsy and broke a few beakers and the one day he said, Carol quit breaking the beakers and you’ll get a passing grade. God Bless and May he Rest In Peace.

Gene Olson was a great mentor and friend for many of us in our high school years. He was a great man. He spoke softly, but got respect from all. He knew how to gain the respect of his students. God bless you all in your time of grief.

Sorry I cannot make to funeral or wake. I have to work this weekend.

Our thoughts and our prayers are with you. We have so many fond memories of your entire family growing up. From being very young children, all the way through High School, Gene always had a kind word, a kind smile, and a kind heart. He will be missed. Love and Peace to you all! The Granzow Girls

Mary and Family,
Gene welcomed me to Wilmot High School in 1976 (I have to admit that he was the best superintendent in my 28 years there). All three of your kids, Mike, Betsy, and Greg I had as students. I continued are relationship at the WHS retirement breakfast for the last 13 years where I got to know Gene in a different environment.
He was a pleasure to know and will greatly be missed by all.
Sincerely, Judy Anderson

Oh my Marilyn---my deepest sympathy to you and your family. It was always such a pleasure to see you at Pine Street Cafe in Burlington now and then. I have Mike and Mary's hooked rugs hanging in my basement - the Fruit Loops bird and Mike's crayfish. Wonderful memories of the Olson's. So glad Mary keeps in touch with Betsy. Gene will be greatly missed, but he is in a better place and at peace.

To the Olson Family I send my deepest sympathies to all of you. I have known you all 50 years and Gene was always willing to chat with me. He will be missed deeply. I won't be able to make the service due to Dana coming in on Saturday. My thoughts will be with all of you
