Irene E. Leach, 72 of Elkhorn, WI, died Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. She was born on January 11, 1943 the daughter of Lincoln and Frances (Himebauch) Stardy. Irene was united in marriage to Larry E. Leach on August 30, 1961 in Burlington, WI. Larry preceded her in death in 1982. She was a 1961 graduate of Elkhorn High School. Irene loved to travel and to collect dolls. She was a sales representative for Avon products for over 48 years. Irene is survived by her special friend, David Perkins of Delavan, WI, her step-brother, William Schaefer of Garrison, MN, her God child, Kelly Ellertson, her friends; Jean and Mike Petkoff of Delavan, WI, Suzanne Ammon of Williams Bay, WI, Debbie Pagel of Elkhorn, WI and Dorie Shoemaker of Delavan, WI. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, son, Jay, and mother, Frances Felscher. Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Tom DeGroot officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Roselawn Memory Gardens in the Town of Delavan.
