My Mom, Lue Riek, is a resident at the Cottages. She and friend, Loretta there, loved Marvin! Many days my husband, Howard, and I would both talk to your Dad. He was very kind and told Howard he needed a larger harmonica. He played his harmonica often there while Loretta played the piano and Mom would help singing songs. It's difficult to visit and he is not there. We know how hard it must be for all of you. We are so glad to have known Marvin!

We are so very sorry for your loss. May you find peace and assurance in the knowledge that your dad/grandfather is no longer suffering. May God bless you as you continue to heal from this loss and remind you of the many cherished memories you will always have.

My deepest sympathies to the three of you and your families. Will always remember your dad and entire family especially the many times our families were together when we were all much younger. In our minds anyhow we change little and things continue on. May God bless you as you progress through this time of sorrow and finally the healing process.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. Will always remember his visits with my mom and dad, Bruce and Betty Renk. Mom had special friends in Gloria & Marvin and Joan & Fred for over 70+ years. What a cherished gift Betty, Gloria and Joan all had becoming friends in school and remaining friends through all these years experiencing their marriages to Bruce, Marvin and Fred and then their children. It is with a heavy heart we say good bye to another loved member of the group. May you find peace and comfort knowing the dear friends your dad had and the lifetime of memories they all experienced. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am truly sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Marvin and my father will always be my inspiration for the sport of fishing that I have enjoyed since the good ol days on Lake Lucerne.
God bless you!
