Theodore Otto Loster age 95 of Twin Lakes, WI. He was born in Chicago, IL. On October 5, 1919. The son of the late John and Martha (Otto) Loster. On March 31, 1951 in Chicago, IL he was united in marriage to Natalie Rurka-Anselmo. She preceded him in death on December 7, 1996. He worked as a Truck Driver. Theodore served Honorably in the United States Army. During his time in the Army he served with the 74th Engineering and assisted with building the Alaskan Highway. He also served in the 82nd Airborne as a Paratrooper and served in 5 Major conflicts. He received the Purple Heart during his service. He was Lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Theodore enjoyed Golfing, Fishing Cooking and playing Softball in his early years.
He is survived by his 2 Daughters: Nancy Anselmo, Elizabeth (Andy) Webber. 3 Sons: Joseph (Sandra) Anselmo, Theodore (Barbara) Loster and Robert (Gail) Loster. Further survived 5 Grandchildren: Leslie Anselmo-Gunderson, Kelsey Sachs, Anthony and Andrea Loster and Deanna Smith. 4 Great Grandchildren: Alexis “Lexi” Gunderson, Brooke Gunderson, Kayla Sachs and Kegan Sachs. He was preceded in death by his Daughter Natalie Smith, 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 28, 2015 at St. John’s Catholic Church 701 N. Lake Ave Twin Lakes, Wi. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. John’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday April 27, 2015 from 4:00PM -8:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI.
