Sorry about Mom. I still remember her bringing your Uncle Jim for guitar lessons on Saturdays and sitting in the kitchen with my Mom and Grandma. The photo was taken in 1961. L to R ... Alice, Grandma Haney, Jim Jr and Jim Sr.

I worked with Alice at BHS. Many years ago on Sunday afternoons, I would bring my son to work in a small office near a computer room where she printed reports. He'd bring books and pretend to work like his dad.
From time to time, Alice would come in to check on the printing. She'd stop to say hello and talk about my son and his books. During the regular week when we'd see each other in the hall, she'd ask, "How's that boy?"
I want to return the warmth she shared with me for books and that boy.
