So sad to see this. I have so many great memories of Charlie and his family. I think the best was Helen chasing him around the yard with a broom until he turned around, picked her up and put her on the front step. He said "Now you behave ma." Haven't seen him in many years, but will always remember his smile and sense of humor. RIP

Thank you for sharing the memory. Yes Charlie did have a good sense of humor. We will miss that most about him! RIP Charlie! Steve and I will miss you!

Dear Steven, Ken and families....
I don't know if you remember me, or not, but I just had to write a note of condolence to you and 'Uncle Ken'. We lived across the street from your Laufenberg grandparents for many years.
My late daughter, Sandy, baby-sat you boys on many occasions. She sent me the newspaper clipping of Steven's engagement so many years ago!!!
Your Dad was a good friend to so many of the residents at Honey Lake (and your Mom, also). Please know that our hearts are sad for you all.

I worked with Chuck at Brake Parts in McHenry for many years. After retired I saw him at 4 Reasons Bar in Pell Lake. He was a great friend and would help anyone who needed it. I have lots of great memories of him and Nancy. We went to watch races at Lake Geneva Race track with them. Love and sympathy to his family, Rose
