Thank you dear Ron...just read your message today. It makes me smile to know that you remembered my George! . He was so special. I was so blessed to be married for 62 years to such a great guy. It's been over two years and my heart is still broken. I know it will still take some time...grieving can be very complicated. I do have so many fond memories watching you grow up......you and Gina with your nets...catching bugs🤗 So many great memories. Hope you are well. Thank you again for caring. With a grateful heart, Jo

My deepest sympathies to Mrs. Bakiares, Gina, and family. Was surprising to know also that Mr. Bakiares was in the printing business just like my husband Wally had been for 43 years with R. R. Donnelley in Chicago. May God bless you. Love & hugs, Kathy Gordon Kubin

Thank you dear Kathy for your kind
Words. My George was a gentle soul. He had that special way of caring about people. He taught us all so much about living without saying a word. I know our Lord has a special place for him. No more suffering. This brings great consolation. For now, there's a void in my heart. I loved him so much. We were so blessed to have 62 years together. Be well and keep smiling!

I will miss this really great guy. I always looked forward to going over to see the Bakiares'. A real and true man that had no pretenses, only genuine and honest conversation, advice and friendship. He was one of those special men that truly had a positive influence on my life. A true mentor that taught without teaching, what life was all about. Quality time at the lake. Parking my dune buggy on his lawn, boating, and just hanging out, talking, laughing, enjoying life and creating memories. A very good part of my younger years may have passed on, but those memories he helped create will live on. Godspeed and God Bless "Mr. Bakiares".
You are and always will be missed,
Bob Stumpf

A truly great guy during our "formative" years and truly a second Dad for us. "Mr. Bakiares" will be missed and our memories will never fade away. Gary Gordon, Bob Stumpf and families.
