Ronald G. Lasko

Ronald G. Lasko, age 68, of Twin Lakes, WI, died Thursday afternoon, October 13, 2016 at United Health Care-St. Catherine’s Campus.

Ronald Gene Lasko was born on July 1, 1948 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Frank C. and Ruth Klopp Lasko.He moved to Twin Lakes in 1949.He graduated from Wilmot High School in 1966.

Ron served as a Sp4 in The U.S. Army from May 24, 1968 until discharge on May 22, 1970.He earned the Vietnam service medal and the Air medal.

Ron was an entrepreneur throughout his lifetime.He was a former salesman for Edison Liquors in Milwaukee, WI, worked for the Edgewater in Twin Lakes and owned and operated Dynies Tap in Salem, WI for many years.He also owned several rental properties in the Twin Lakes area.

Ron was a former member of the Twin Lakes Vol. Fire Department and Rescue Squad and the Twin Lakes American Legion Post #544.He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, biking and golfing.

Ron is survived by: 2 daughters, Wendy (Bob) Swanson) Lasko of Silver Lake, WI and Tracy (Steve) Dortch of Genoa City, WI; his fiancée, Louise Stephens of Twin Lakes, WI; 3 grandchildren, Zachary (Shannon) Behl, Elizabeth Behl and Ethan Dortch; 1 great grandchild, Brooklyn Be; 1 brother, James (Kathy) Lasko of Twin Lakes, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Frank Lasko.

The Lasko Family will receive friends from 4:00PM Wednesday Oct. 19, 2016 until the time of funeral services at 7:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Twin Lakes.Interment will be held at 1:00PM Thursday at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Dover, WI.
