I saw Jim and Roxanne Friday night and they told me of your sad sad news. I was shocked and saddened. She was a beautiful girl and looked like you, Mary. Though I have not seen you guys for sometime, memories of good friends are not forgotten. Our paths take us in different directions through life but we will all meet again in peace, at the same place someday. Stay strong, and stay faithful. I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Shawna. I was her 6th grade teacher and remember how sweet and kind a person she was. Years later I ran into Shawna and she had grown into a beautiful, young women with the future ahead of her. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to be a small part of her life. It's hard to understand why some are taken so young; but being true to our faith, comforts those in knowing that it's all in God's plan. Peace to Shawna and those who loved her.
