Dom & Chaminda,
This past spring I was working in my Severance office and heard a joyful laugh out in the hallway. It was the kind of heartwarming laugh that made me smile just hearing it! I couldn't help but peek to see who was having so much fun....it was Traci and her friend. They were in town to shave your heads in support of the campus awareness and fundraising you two had accomplished on behalf of St. Baldrick's (Childhood Cancer Fighting Organization). She was exuding SO much love and admiration for you guys. Hold onto those truly precious happy memories and allow them to offer you comfort when you miss her. Your mom will never leave you...because she lives on through you and all the wonderful things you do for the people whose lives you touch! I knew Tracy since she was a happy, young girl. I gave her flute lessons through junior high and into high school. I got to watch her grow into a beautiful, young woman...fall in love and out of love and back into love! When she became a mom, I saw her as she loved her sons! I am saddened that Dominick and Derrick's time with their mom has been shortened and I pray that they find peace in knowing she was happy in her last years in life with Brandin. I believe that Traci has gone to rest in a much gentler place than the one she has endured this last year of her life. God bless her family in this difficult time. May he wrap his arms around each of you and fill you with His peace. Doug and I (as well as Devon, Dustin, and Dane) are praying for you! 💝

We met Traci through our vet. She had the kindest heart and was so wonderful working with clients and pets alike. She had such passion about her...and that smile. it could light up a room. Our dog, Buddy, "christened" Traci's shoes the first time we took him in. After that, we were on a first name basis with "Aunt Traci"!

I WENT TO BADGER HIGH SCHOOL WITH TRACI. I DID NOT REALLY GET TO KNOW HER UNTIL THE LAST YEAR OR TWO OF SCHOOL. AFTER HIGH SCHOOL, WE HUNG OUT AT PARTIES AND THE BARS. SHE WAS PRETTY NICE TO ME AS WE GOT OLDER. WE LOST CONTACT OVER THE YEARS UNTIL WE RECONNECTED ON FACEBOOK FROM 2010-2012-ISH. I NEVER KNEW SHE WAS SICK. MY HEART SANK WHEN I HEARD ABOUT HER DEATH. I HAD HOPED SOMEDAY TO RECONNECT WITH MY CLASSMATES AND TO SEE HER SOMEDAY. I'M AT A LOST FOR WORDS.
